What quality 80 does to a 4.8 MB phone photo
Typical values for a 12-megapixel photo with fine detail. Your result panel always shows the real numbers for your file.
How it works
- Add a JPG, PNG or WebP image. Its size shows in the file card.
- Move the quality slider. 80 is the setting most people end up keeping.
- Click Run. Both previews and both sizes appear side by side.
Limits
- Very large images (over about 40 megapixels) can fail on low-memory phones.
- PNG ignores the quality slider: PNG compression is lossless.
- The original file is never changed.
